Courageous SELFcare Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization. The foundation's mission is to service the underserved so they too can have the essential necessities which should be available to every human being.
We believe it's a right for every human being to have access to food, clothing, shelter and health care; no matter their socioeconomic status. We provide clothing, food, scholarships and counseling services to those who cannot afford it through grants and generous donations. Founder/ Executive Director
Marilyn Dabney Perry is the Founder/ CEO of Courageous SELFcare Specialists, LLC and Founder/ Executive Director of Courageous SELFcare Foundation, Inc. Marilyn has a bachelor's degree in Christian Counseling. She is a certified Lay Counselor, Christian Counselor, and Life Mastery Coach. Marilyn is one of the Ambassadors for the South Fulton Chamber of Commerce in Georgia. Marilyn is also an Inspirational Speaker for both youth and adults. She uses her platform to inspire, encourage, and unapologetically share the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Marilyn is a Philadelphia native but currently reside in Atlanta, GA. Her passion has always been to serve the less fortunate and to help others who cannot help themselves. By creating Courageous SELFcare Specialists, LLC and the Foundation, she is able to achieve just that. Marilyn believes in the power of Christian Counseling; from personal experience, she discovered that counseling helps you achieve life mastery by taking you through the journey of wholeness and overall SELFcare.
MARILYN DABNEY PERRY
Nikki Blakely-Simmons is a lover of all things – Real Estate and Wealth Building. She is a licensed Georgia Realtor, Speaker, Business Development Coach and Brand Strategist. Although Nikki sells Real Estate, she also buys and invests in Real Estate as well. Nikki has been an investor in Real Estate since 2004. Through her experiences as a buyer, seller and investor, has built her business – NBS Real Estate Group on the premise of two foundational principles, which is: 1) to educate, guide and support as many people as possible in the home buying, selling and investing process and 2) teaching them the importance and value of using Real Estate as a vehicle to generate wealth and leave a durable life legacy.
Nikki serves as a Real Estate Specialist to millennials, second-time homebuyers, military and relocation professionals. She also has a passion for working with and assisting individuals of Generation X, to realize their dream of homeownership for the very first time. Nikki is passionate about her work in the Real Estate industry. Her ultimate life goal is to save, change and transform the lives of others, through the process of educating, coaching and training on how to generate, duplicate and maintain wealth through the buying, selling and investing of Real Estate.

Angela Perry has a Bachelors of Science in Public Relations from Florida A&M University.Angela is the Founder & CEO of Daveiga Designs LLC, a company that creates unique & motivational apparel and gifts for women. She began creating unique gifts for family & college classmates in 2004. After several years of creating as a hobby Angela decided to sell her designs to fellow classmates to make ends meet while she attended school. In 2020 she decided to take a leap of faith when she combined her love for design & empowerment for women & girls. Hence Daveiga Designs was born.Angela has a combined 10 years of experience in Public Relations Management, Marketing and Community Engagement.
Since joining The Mosaic Group, one of South Florida’s Top Public Relations & Marketing agencies she has developed comprehensive communications plans to include marketing, public relations and social media planning to increase community awareness of the firm’s clients and initiatives.Prior to her time at the Mosaic Group Angela served as a Family Services Administrator for the YMCA of Greater Charlotte where she assisted in the marketing, development and implementation of inner-city youth programs. Angela is originally from Willingboro New Jersey and is extremely proud of her Cape Verdean heritage.

Cameo Crumby is an entrepreneur, investor, mentor and philanthropist. He has two associate degrees from Central Piedmont Community College. One in Business Administration and one in Liberal Arts. A bachelors degree in Organizational Communications and a Masters Degree in Organizational Leadership. He used his education and experience to start a non profit in 2015 called Mindsight NP. The mission is to give inner city youth an outlet through sports and fitness. In 2018 he started Crumby Capital LLC. A real estate investing company that provides affordable housing.
Recently he followed his passion and started Mr. Franchise Guy LLC. A franchise consulting business that helps potential business owners identify and research franchise business opportunities. In his spare time he volunteers and is a long time member with the 100 Black Men of Charlotte.

Arien J. Conner is originally from Winston-Salem, NC and currently resides in Atlanta, GA. Arien studied Journalism and Mass Communication at Central Piedmont Community College. She currently works in the Claims Department at State Farm. During the COVID-19 pandemic; as businesses were closing, she found creative ways to self groom.
It not only helped her save money but has now encouraged her to become an entrepreneur. She is currently pursing a License, further education, building clientele, and preparing to open her very own business/salon.
